I suggest You could go to the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center. It’s about 25-miles west of Colorado Springs and not too far from Pikes Also, head up to Pikes Peak. I would take the bus up in the winter - that drive is frightening even on a clear day in the middle of summer. You could spend a day at the hot springs in Glenwood Springs or head up to Steamboat and Strawberry Springs.
